Turkey Day 2009

This year we both ran in the Mesa Turkey Trot!

It was a warm day for a run and we enjoyed getting out and

burning the calories we'd later be adding on at dinner!

Spencer finished in 53 min 16 sec

and I finished in 1 hr 18 min 18 sec.

After the run we headed down to Tucson

to spend time with my side of the family.

We also celebrated our Grandmother's 91st birthday!
My cousin Stephanie made her fabulous present cake.

Arizona State Fair

On Saturday night we and some friends went to the Arizona State Fair! The Fair is always fun to people watch, pet the animals, eat everything deep fried and enjoy the rides! Now I know the food is far from healthy but the gobs of grease just taste better at the fair. We enjoyed a ginormous polish dog and a pile of piggly fries. mmmmm

We had fun watching the smash derby!

These are the cars at the Smash Derby. This was seriously one of the funniest things to ever watch. They paint their cars just to crash them into everyone else. Some even caught on FIRE!
