Happy Birthday Babe! I Love You!

Spencer is such a happy person to be around and by the looks of these baby pics it looks like he's been that way since day one. He loves to have a good time with friends and family, enjoys new challenges, and is so great to be around. He's one of those people that make you want to try a little harder to be a little better because he does the same. I love that he always wants to improve himself and draw closer to our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost.

San Diego Temple

Spencer, Corissa, Jenna, Steve, John, Krystal, and Steve

On the road again! Spencer and I met a group of friends in San Diego to watch the Red Bull Air Race. To get our day started Spencer and I went to a session at the San Diego Temple. That place was gorgeous! It looks like a princess castle from the outside and inside is even more amazing! I would have stayed all day if I could.

We met up with the rest of the crew for breakfast and headed down to the bay. The races were really cool. These aerobatic planes were racing through slalom courses at 230 mph! It was crazy but so fun to watch!

After the races we headed north a little bit to La Jolla to chill at the beach. It was a beautiful sunset. We had dinner at a cute Thai place called Spice and Rice… it was delicious!
Sunday Spencer and I left the group to head up to see his brother and his family for church and dinner. We got to see cute little Mesha and Sterling and Kierstin. They made us a fabulous dinner and then we were on the road again back home.

Spartans - April 19, 2008

Do you have Spartan Spirit? Who doesn’t love the Spartan cheerleaders on SNL? Spencer’s ward - University 7th Ward - hosts People’s Choice every year. This is a fun activity for ward members to dress up as different “famous” or “not-so famous” people. His ward members are so creative, we saw everything from Adam and Eve, Run Away Bride, Wicked Witch of the West, to Blanch and Rose from the Golden Girls… I couldn’t stop laughing. It was a great night!

Tyler's Wedding - April 26, 2008

Mount Timpanogos Temple

At the end of April we flew up to Salt Lake City! Tyler, one of Spencer's younger brothers, got married. I was so excited to meet the rest of Spencer's family. His mom and dad are the nicest and sweetest people ever and made me feel very comfortable. Before the wedding on Saturday Spencer took me and Andrew, his little brother that is graduating from High School soon, down to the BYU campus for a personal tour.
Tyler and Casey had a beautiful sealing ceremony in the Timpanogos Temple and I am so grateful to have been able to be there. They had a nice sit down dinner for all their friends and family.

Happy birthday Corissa and Katrina!
To celebrate we had dinner at Pedro’s and then had a blast cosmic bowling! The best part about being a twin is having such an awesome person to share my birthday with. I love you Katrina!!
Spencer also hosted a friends and family BBQ at his house so he could try out his brand new grill! Thank you Spencer!

Mesa, Arizona Temple

Big day for the twins - March 22, 2008

I’ve had a goal since I started going back to church to attend the Temple and I was finally ready. I was so blessed to have so many ward members and friends there with me. It was such a sweet and precious spirit in the Temple. I knew I was in the right place and the right time for the right reasons.

My twin sis, Katrina, was baptized! It's been something I've prayed for since I joined the church 6 years ago. She started dating a home teacher of mine back from the singles ward and really became interested in what makes us different. She looked up her own ward and started attending church and invited the missionaries over to teach her. She is eager to know the truth and is willing to change her lifestyle and her heart to be able to receive answers to her prayers about the truthfulness of the gospel. It's amazing!

Weaver's Needle Hike - Jan. 19, 2008

What a nice way to enjoy the three-day weekend. A group of us went on a hike in east Mesa to a place called Weaver’s Needle. There was a cool creek and awesome scenery to enjoy.

Our first road trip! We went to Cali to visit Spencer’s brothers and catch a BYU football game. We hung out with Jacob in LA and he took us to some cool places then we headed over to Pasadena to see the game. That night we stayed with Sterling and Kierstin and got to play with little Mesha. She is so cute and happy all the time!

Spencer and I took a scenic drive to Miami, AZ. We had lunch at a yummy little Mexican restaurant and then took a walk around some Indian ruins. As we walked around it began to sprinkle… nothing smells better than dessert rain!

Camelback Hike - Jan. 20, 2007

Shortly after our fist date, Spencer invited me to go hiking with some of his co-workers. We had a great hike into the clouds. It was a rainy and cold day in January!
